Bass Guitar For Kids

The bass guitar is the lowest pitched instrument in the guitar family. It looks similar to the electric guitar, with a longer neck. And like the electric guitar, it must be connected to an amplifier to be heard. The bassist plays the instrument by holding its neck in their left hand, and plucking the strings with their right fingers or thumb, or striking them with a pick. Since gaining popularity in the 1950s, it has replaced the double bass in modern music.
